Senior Software Developer-Federal Government

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to support a federal government client's Microsoft 365 environment. In this role, you will build, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites and pages, develop Power Platform solutions, and automate business processes using Power Automate.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, and workflows
• Develop applications and components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, or other Microsoft 365 tools
• Automate business processes using Power Automate, forms, and custom logic
• Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform with other systems and data sources
• Ensure solutions follow governance, security, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot issues, maintain existing features, and support users with enhancements

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in the responsibilities listed above
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be able to pass a federal personnel security background check
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboards
• Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Power Platform, SharePoint)
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools
• Prior experience supporting federal government contracts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, or Defender for governance/security tasks
• Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
