Senior Network Engineer - Cloudflare

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Network Engineer (Cloudflare) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and a comprehensive understanding of security principles, cloud security, and network infrastructure.

Potential on-site work required (1 day a week).

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Only seeking local DC/Maryland/Virginia candidates.

Responsibilities

• Managing Cloudflare environment and other Zero-Trust tools that are deployed in Agency's Environment.
• Utilizes provided Network Access Control (NAC) and network monitoring tools.
• Required to block/unblock IPs, track suspicious network traffic and perform firmware/software upgrades on Cisco ASAs, routers and switches per Agency guidance.
• Maintains network security groups, routes, and firewall rules in Google, AWS and Azure as well as the N wave TICAP circuit and manages the subnets, VNets and VPCs in Azure and AWS.
• The network team should respond to outages immediately and other network related issues according to Agency SLA.

Required

:

• Minimum 7 or more years of experience in related field
• BS/BA degree (or equivalent), certification as a network engineer, and or industry standard certifications (Security+ or CISSP)

Pay: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
