About the Role
Riverside Mental Health is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across our growing network of behavioral health practices.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified client leads, strengthen referral pipelines, and support sustainable growth across multiple clinics and markets.
The Marketing Manager will oversee marketing strategy, execution, analytics, and optimization across digital and traditional channels while working closely with Riverside leadership and individual clinic teams. The ideal candidate can think strategically at the organizational level while also being comfortable getting into the details and executing campaigns.
Success in this position will be measured not simply by marketing activity, but by measurable growth in qualified leads, client acquisition, referral sources, and return on marketing investment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy across Riverside Mental Health and its affiliated practices.
- Create market-specific strategies based on each clinic's services, specialties, geography, and growth objectives.
- Make data-driven recommendations on Marketing resource decisions, including insource/outsource decisions
- Effectively manage and grow a small team of marketing employees and contractors
- Balance short-term lead generation with long-term brand development and market positioning.
- Identify new opportunities, channels, partnerships, and initiatives to support organizational growth.
- Establish clear marketing goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns designed to generate qualified client inquiries and consultations.
- Optimize inbound, outbound, digital, and referral marketing channels to improve conversion.
- Evaluate and test new lead-generation opportunities and referral sources.
- Work with clinic leadership and intake teams to understand lead quality, conversion rates, clinician capacity, and areas of greatest need.
- Use performance data to continuously improve client acquisition strategies.
Digital Marketing & Paid Advertising
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
- Oversee campaign targeting, creative, budgets, bidding strategies, and performance.
- Monitor cost per lead, conversion rates, ROI, and other key performance indicators.
- Continually test and refine campaigns to improve results and marketing efficiency.
Content, SEO & Brand Management
- Oversee website, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content strategy across Riverside and its practices.
- Develop content that supports search visibility, client engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with clinicians and leadership to translate clinical expertise into accessible, compelling marketing content.
- Maintain consistent brand standards while preserving the individual identity and market positioning of each practice.
- Ensure marketing materials appropriately reflect the sensitivity and ethical considerations of behavioral healthcare marketing.
Referral & Community Marketing
- Develop strategies to strengthen professional referral networks and community partnerships.
- Support outreach to physicians, schools, healthcare providers, therapists, community organizations, and other referral partners.
- Identify opportunities for community engagement, partnerships, events, and other relationship-based marketing initiatives.
- Track referral sources and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
Analytics, Reporting & Budget Management
- Establish and maintain reliable tracking across websites, advertising platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other marketing channels.
- Monitor marketing performance across individual clinics and the organization as a whole.
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership with clear analysis, recommendations, and next steps.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources based on performance and organizational priorities.
- Track ROI and make timely, data-driven adjustments to improve performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong experience with lead generation, digital marketing, paid advertising, SEO, content strategy, and marketing analytics.
- Experience managing Google Ads, Meta advertising, and other digital marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate marketing data into actionable business decisions.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
- Ability to manage marketing initiatives across multiple brands, locations, or markets.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from strategy through execution.
- Experience in mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, or another healthcare-related industry strongly preferred.
- Understanding of the privacy, ethical, and reputational considerations involved in healthcare marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

The right candidate will be comfortable operating in a growing organization where individual practices have different needs and markets, while building a cohesive marketing strategy that supports Riverside Mental Health as a whole.
Compensation
$110,000 - 125,000 per year
