DevOps Engineer (Bilingual in Mandarin)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DevOps Engineer to lead the administration of our AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Database environments. This role requires deep expertise in AWS (including multi-account structures, SSO, and Organizations), hands-on experience with MongoDB cluster and MySQL/Aurora administration, and strong proficiency in CI/CD using tools like TeamCity and Git. You will be responsible for automating deployments, ensuring system reliability and performance, and supporting a complex ecosystem of services and databases. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of modern DevOps practices—including infrastructure as code, proactive monitoring, and security automation—and collaborates effectively with global teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AWS multi-account structure (Organizations, SSO, IAM roles and permissions), and drive identity/permission management best practices
• Manage core networking and security components (CloudFront, API Gateway, load balancers, WAF/firewalls), and troubleshoot network issues
• Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, and drive standardization across large-scale environments
• Operate and optimize database clusters (MongoDB and/or MySQL/Aurora), including backups, replication, performance tuning, TLS configuration, and access control
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity or Bitbucket Pipelines), with automated deploy/rollback and health checks
• Build system and application monitoring (CloudWatch as the core, combined with Datadog or Uptime Kuma), including log aggregation and alerting
• Implement TLS/SSL configurations to meet PCI-DSS and internal compliance standards; work with security teams to remediate vulnerability findings
• Optimize AWS resource usage and cost (tagging strategy, lifecycle policies, instance-type right-sizing)
