Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure for Calypso applications and related enterprise software.
• Automate deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Monitor system performance with tools like New Relic, Splunk, and Elasticsearch; analyze logs for troubleshooting and incident response.
• Manage containerization systems including Docker and Kubernetes to support microservices architecture and cloud-native deployments on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, and Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure high availability through disaster recovery planning, system testing, backup strategies, and incident recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize software deployment workflows using build automation tools like Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Maintain security standards by configuring firewalls, managing identity & access management (IAM), implementing cloud security best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
