Consulting Controller

My client is seeking a consulting Controller to join a leading Fractional CFO firm. You are an analytical financial wizard with a keen eye for detail, ensuring impeccable follow-up and commitment across diverse client priorities. Your Impact & Responsibilities – Where Your Strengths Shine. As our Controller, your unique strengths will be directly applied to critical areas across multiple client engagements on a fractional basis:

• Client Relationship & Financial Management: Your thorough communication and relationship-building skills will foster successful client partnerships. You'll manage the entire financial close process for multiple clients, including financial statement preparation, KPI analysis, and presenting month-end results, ensuring accuracy and insightful explanations for our clients.
• Precision Accounting & Analysis: Your keen eye for detail, analytical wizardry, and deductive problem-solving will drive meticulous general ledger management, strong reconciliation skills, and in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow management and forecasting. You'll identify key variances and provide clear explanations.
• Operational Oversight & Agility: Your ability to thrive in dynamic environments and ensure impeccable follow-up will enable you to manage multiple deadlines, multi-task effectively, and maintain oversight and leadership of client accounting teams, all while ensuring robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

What You Bring (Formal Qualifications)

• 7-10 years progressive experience in accounting/finance, with 5 years in a Controller or similar leadership role, ideally managing multiple client accounts or diverse business units.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA
