• Serves as the Chief of Medical Staff and a primary care clinician exercising leadership over physicians and health technicians.
• Obtains medical histories, performs physical examination; orders appropriate laboratory, radiographic and other diagnostic studies. Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Provides medical care to patients of all ages in the urgent care/emergency room, outpatient clinic, community clinic, inpatient service and obstetrical unit. Manages emergency room patients, low-risk obstetrical patients and refers unusual difficult or complex cases to appropriate specialist.
• Provides administrative and technical supervision of assigned staff. Plan and assign work, develop and evaluate performance, approve/deny leave, provide advice and counsel, resolve complaints, take and recommends appropriate disciplinary and personnel actions.
• Directs the Ongoing P
