Job Requirement — State of Georgia Role

Senior .NET Modernization Engineer Client: State of Georgia Location: Atlanta, GA — Hybrid (Tue–Thu On‑Site) Rate: ALAP — 60/hr to $75/hr (Based on experience & work authorization)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Acceptable statuses: US Citizen, Green Card, H1B, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, GC‑EAD, OPT (strong experience only)
• Must provide visa copy, EAD copy, or Green Card copy during onboarding
• Must provide ID + SSN during background check (standard U.S. process)

Location Requirement

• Must be physically located in Georgia
• Hybrid schedule: On‑site Tue–Thu at Atlanta
• Mandatory in‑person meetings for All Hands & project milestones
• Required QualificationsExperience
• 8+ years professional .NET development (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API)
• 5+ years hands‑on modernization from legacy ASP.NET → .NET 6/7/8/10
• 5+ years SQL Server (stored procedures, T‑SQL tuning, schema migrations, data cleanup)
• 5+ years Azure (App Services, Function Apps, pipelines, configuration management)
• 5+ years Agile delivery (Scrum or Kanban) using ADO or GitHub
• Frontend & Integration
• Build and maintain React components as part of modernization
• Demonstrate strong understanding of CSR, SSR, component‑based architectures
• Integrate internal APIs and third‑party services
• Implement reporting using SSRS and Power BI
• Participate in AI integration initiatives (Azure Agentic AI, Copilot, chatbot integrations)
• implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
