Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, alongside backend technologies like Ruby on Rails,.NET, or Java.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
• Develop and optimize database schemas using SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Contribute to system design for system development projects, focusing on scalability, security (RBAC), and high availability in cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub, Git, SVN, or Jenkins to streamline software releases.
• Apply design patterns and best practices in software design to create reusable, efficient code across front-end and back-end components.
• Participate actively in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain version control repositories and document code changes thoroughly to support team collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full stack web development with proficiency in React and backend programming languages
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts including cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), microservices architecture, REST APIs, and scalability principles.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems like MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including version control (GitHub, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, application development methodologies (Agile), and system design patterns.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments for deployment and development purposes.
• Ability to write clean, efficient code with attention to security standards such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Bonus skills include experience with C++, C#,.NET framework, quantum engineering concepts, VBA scripting, or front-end development using React or other JavaScript frameworks.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
