What's been missing

Azure depth - many submittals are AWS-centric. We need hands-on Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Azure DevOps, App Services). Payments or financial services at transaction volume. Queuing and distributed systems - Kafka, Service Bus, MQ, multithreading. This is a core requirement and frequently absent. Test automation ownership - building automation frameworks and integrating test suites into CI/CD, not just writing unit tests. Observability - Datadog or equivalent monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Concrete AI experience - candidates must describe what they built or automated using AI, not just list too
