Devops Engineer

One of our clients in government domain is seeking a Devops Engineer who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of their Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in driving automation, improving software release frequency, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of DevOps principles and extensive experience with industry-leading CI/CD tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Administer and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to support development workflows and collaboration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to streamline software build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within the CI/CD environment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging CI/CD technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience1 in CI/CD administration or DevOps engineering.
• Proven experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and XebiaLabs.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) administration.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
