Database Analyst /Administrator

GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and talented candidate to join our team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC).

The Database Analyst/ Administrator will execute the following responsibilities

* Provides production support for mission‑critical database environments, including shift‑based coverage and on‑call support to ensure high availability and timely issue resolution.

* Monitors database performance, responds to incidents, troubleshoots production issues, and coordinates with development and operations teams to restore service quickly.

* Performs root‑cause analysis for production defects and contributes to long‑term stability improvements.

* Works within an Agile solution development environment with daily scrums, biweekly sprint planning and quarterly Program Increment planning.

* Develops operating standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

* Ensures the proper definition, control, and coordination of data elements and standards, and the facilitation of efficient data relationships, systems integration, and physical structure.

* Participates in the development and implementation of database management policies and standards for efficient quality control and data administration.

* Collaborates with Product Owners and users to gather business requirements and define and maps them to technical requirements. Me
