About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative Assistant Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting while supporting the VP of Finance and executive leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys improving processes, developing people, and using financial information to support business performance.

What You’ll Do

· Lead daily accounting operations and monthly financial close.

· Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports.

· Oversee reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll accounting, and general ledger activity.

· Maintain strong internal controls and coordinate audit and tax activities.

· Support cash-flow forecasting, collections, vendor payments, and working capital.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

· Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.

· Improve systems, reporting, automation, and financial processes.

What You Bring

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience.

· Strong GAAP, financial reporting, close, and internal-control knowledge.

· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Advanced Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

· CPA, CMA, MBA, Power BI, or ERP implementation experience is a plus.

Success will include timely and accurate financial reporting, disciplined close and reconciliation processes, effective audit preparation, improved working-capital management, strong vendor relationships, team development, and measurable process improvements.
