AI/ML Engineer, Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore (Healthcare)

About the role

D9Tech is hiring hands-on AI/ML developers for upcoming AWS Professional Services work. The customer is a healthcare company automating its claims processing with agentic AI. You'll build and ship production agents on AWS.

What you'll do

• Build and deploy agentic AI solutions on Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore (Runtime, Memory, Gateway, Identity, Observability)
• Build RAG pipelines on Bedrock Knowledge Bases
• Develop multi-agent workflows with the Strands Agents SDK and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Build services on EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, and Aurora
• Write production Python (FastAPI), work with Kafka, and deploy with Terraform and GitHub Actions

Required

• 2+ years of software development
• Hands-on experience building on Amazon Bedrock (agents, Knowledge Bases, or RAG)
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with AWS serverless or container services
• Must be based in the United States

Preferred

• Hands-on Bedrock AgentCore and Strands Agents SDK
• MCP servers or multi-agent orchestration
• Terraform and GitHub Actions
• HIPAA or SOC 2 environments
• Healthcare or claims experience
• Kiro or other AI coding assistants
• AWS certifications (Machine Learning, Generative AI, Developer)
