Systems Software Engineer Job Description -------------------

The qualified candidate will work with a team of software and hardware engineers in supporting industry leading vacuum system platforms including cutting-edge designs, next-generation controls, product extensions, and continuous improvements to system throughput and performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Responsibilities include developing next-generation controls software, verifying its design, and testing its quality on various vacuum systems and components to which it has been deployed. * Will also be responsible for streamlining or automating configuration, calibration and testing vacuum components, as well as the development of routines for automatic data collection and analysis. * Will include supporting Manufacturing and developing/maintaining/releasing process documentation. May include motion control tuning, characterizing servo performance and stability, and characterizing payload vibration *

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on engineer with broad capabilities in electromechanical systems who possesses:

• BSEE / BSCS or similar with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR MSEE / MSCS or similar with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of C++ or C# programming expertise.
