Sr Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll help shape how data moves, connects, and supports decisions across Maverik. You’ll build and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and data models while working hands-on with complex SQL/T-SQL, data warehousing, and enterprise data. Location/Schedule

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters and follows a hybrid schedule with four days in-office and one remote day each week.

What You’ll do in this Role

• Develop and maintain efficient and scalable data infrastructures that can integrate new technologies
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI analysts, application developers, PMO, and business users to develop and implement complex data integration requirements
• Perform complex database programming by writing SQL stored procedures on large-scale databases
• Develop API processes to pull third-party data using Python
• Assist with the optimization of the data warehouse environment to support efficient access and reporting on enterprise data
• Proactively analyze and address query/job performance bottlenecks
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
• Troubleshoot production issues during and after business hours to ensure SLAs are properly met
