We are looking for a highly skilled Mid level full-stack engineer to join the DAAS team located in Waltham Massachusetts. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer having knowledge of complex system design with excellent problem solving skills. DAAS is a nascent initiative and you'll have the opportunity to affect its direction. You'll take the lead in bringing in new ideas, testing and validating them quickly and independently, and incorporating them while socializing them with the team.

What You'll do

* Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Node.js frameworks like NestJS. * Build scalable systems using event streaming technologies like Kafka * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement new features and functionalities for the platform. * Refactor and improve existing codebases to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability. * Develop and implement RESTful APIs adhering to best practices and design patterns. * Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies. * Solving interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of engineers. * Developing new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels.
