Duties

• Develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Rackspace, and Citrix.
• Automate deployment processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell scripts to streamline operations.
• Monitor system health and performance metrics across distributed systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
• Manage IT infrastructure including virtualization technologies like VMware and Docker containers to support microservices architecture.
• Implement and oversee security protocols including identity and access management (IAM) solutions, system hardening practices, VPNs, and network security measures.
• Collaborate with development teams to design resilient cloud services utilizing RESTful APIs, web services, SaaS platforms, PaaS solutions, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools to accelerate software delivery cycles.
