Kentro is hiring for a Senior Web Software Developer to support the Department of Transportation’s OCDIO Digital Factory under the SWES Capacity Task Order. This role is a central technical position within a program responsible for keeping DOT’s enterprise applications stable, secure, and moving forward as the agency modernizes its digital services. The work spans Operations, Maintenance, and Enhancements as well as Development, Modernization, and Enhancements, giving the developer a direct hand in both sustaining critical systems and shaping their future state.

As the Senior Web Software Developer, you will lead development activities for mid‑tier systems, maintain consistent sprint delivery, and guide legacy applications through their transition to modern cloud environments. You will contribute to secure coding practices, automated pipelines, and the overall technical quality of solutions delivered across multiple Operating Administrations. The mission of this contract is to ensure DOT’s applications remain reliable while steadily improving performance, security, and user experience. This includes reducing technical debt, supporting modernization initiatives, and enabling DOT to respond quickly to evolving business and regulatory needs.
