Senior Software Engineer, Java | Patching

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Java/Kotlin to join our Patching team, the team responsible for how NinjaOne discovers, packages, and deploys OS and third-party software patches across every endpoint we manage. This role is backend-focused, working primarily in Java and Kotlin to build and scale the platform that powers patch management for millions of endpoints. React or Angular experience is a nice-to-have, you may occasionally touch UI components for the patching experience, but this is not a front-end role. You'll work closely with the AI workflow, server, and platform teams, as well as product designers and product owners, to extend NinjaOne's patch management capabilities at scale.

— We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states: **CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, OH and WA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL**, if you prefer a hybrid option.

Java and Kotlin Software Development

– Use your expertise to contribute to the development of large-scale software applications. Make quality an invariant part of your work and help your fellow engineers continue to meet our quality-first standards.

Committing Code and Shipping Products

– You will be one of our most trusted engineers committing code. Responsible for implementing design patterns and working on enterprise-level software challenges, in a startup environment. Impact product more hands-on than at other companies, building software of scale that runs on millions and millions of endpoints.
