We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Next Generation Environment (NGE). In this role, you will design, implement, secure, and automate enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations across hybrid cloud and data center environments.

You will work with cutting-edge networking technologies including Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, F5 BIG-IP, Versa SD-WAN, and Infoblox while collaborating with government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and other contractor teams.

Description of Duties

:

• Engineer and support Cisco Nexus data center networks and EVPN-VXLAN fabrics
• Configure and manage VMware NSX software-defined networking environments
• Administer F5 BIG-IP load balancing and application delivery solutions
• Support Versa SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity solutions
• Manage IPAM, DNS, and DHCP services using Infoblox
• Implement Zero Trust and cybersecurity best practices
• Develop automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or similar tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across enterprise environments

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience (or equivalent combination of experience and advanced education)
• 6+ years of network engineering experience
• Experience with one or more of the following: Cisco Nexus switching and modern data center architectures; VMware NSX; F5 BIG-IP; Versa SD-WAN; Infoblox.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CASP+, etc.)
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Leadership or team lead experience

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Active Top Secret clearance
• CCNP, VMware, F5, Versa, or Infoblox certifications
• Experience with automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience supporting MDA, DISA, or other DoD enterprise environments
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

• Do you have 6, or more, years of directly related experience and 1, or more, years of experience working in a management or leadership role?
• Do you have an active DoW Secret security clearance with verified eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance (or active Top Secret)?
• What IT and/or networking certifications do you hold (e.g. (CCNP Enterprise or Data Center, VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) or VCAP-NV, F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS); Versa Certified SD-WAN Associate/Specialist; Infoblox Core DDI Configurator Associate (CDCA))?
• Do you have experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), the IRES contract, or secure DISA networks?
• Do you have practical experience scripting or automating network changes with Python, Ansible, or Terraform?
