Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end closing processes.
• Manage regulatory reporting requirements for governmental and non-profit entities, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and standards.
• Supervise the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software to optimize financial data accuracy, efficiency, and security.
• Conduct detailed cost accounting analysis to monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting efforts.
• Ensure effective cash management practices including treasury management, forecasting, and liquidity analysis to support organizational needs.
• Lead internal controls initiatives such as SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), facilitating audits and managing risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide the finance team in technical accounting issues like revenue recognition, payroll processing, balance sheet reconciliation, and regulatory compliance accounting.
