Overview

This position manages focused initiatives set forth by the Group Leader and the Information Management department. Supports all critical enterprise database management systems (DBMS) for Oracle E-Business Suite, Peoplesoft, Hyperion, Kronos, Data Warehouse, and custom applications using Oracle database, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL, and technologies running in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). Responsibilities: * Performs or directs to be performed all aspects of database administration for the assigned Database Management Systems, including space management, backup and recovery, real-time and historical performance monitoring, disaster recovery planning, security planning, proactive and reactive tuning, capacity planning, and problem troubleshooting and resolution. * Performs or directs to be performed all application administration functions related to the enterprise application being supported, including installation and upgrade, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and problem troubleshooting and resolution * Proactively innovates and implements tailored database solutions, leads data modeling efforts, and actively contributes to all stages of database development. * Acts as “go-to” for issues regarding the enterprise application and the underlying DBMS consults and advises on all matters, including database requirements for ongoing and future projects; recomm
