The Senior BAS Network Engineer is a senior technical authority responsible for the architecture, security, integration, reliability, and lifecycle management of Building Automation System networks, and supervisory platforms.

This position operates at the intersection of building automation, operational technology, information technology, and cybersecurity. The role provides advanced technical support across Mesa’s offices, establishes practical BAS network and Niagara standards, and serves as a Tier 3 escalation resource for complex system, integration, and infrastructure issues.

The successful candidate will work independently, make sound technical recommendations, coach technical personnel, and communicate effectively with field teams, Automation leaders, customers, vendors, and IT and cybersecurity stakeholders. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Design and review secure, scalable BAS network architectures for individual facilities, campuses, multi-site customers, and enterprise portfolios. * Serve as Mesa’s senior subject matter expert for Niagara Supervisors, JACE controllers, stations, drivers, licensing, certificates, backups, migrations, and platform lifecycle management. * Engineer and troubleshoot BAS communications using BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, LonWorks, SNMP, and other applicable protocols. * Diagnose complex controller, field-bus, IP network, server, database, integration, and application issues using appropriate BAS and network diagnostic tools. * Lead or support Niagara upgrades, system migrations, batch provisioning, database recovery, architecture
