Regional Finance Director

Key Job Duties

• Oversee financial and accounting activities for multiple branch locations across different states, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all locations.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of five direct reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review financial statements, general ledger activity, reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting records for accuracy.
• Analyze financial performance, including trends, variances, risks, and opportunities across the branches.
• Partner with Operations Leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and overall efficiency.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Travel between 6-12 times per year for branch visits, annual Internal Control review, division meetings, and other business as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably including Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership experience.
• Prior experience directly managing and developing a team.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple locations, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to travel for branch support and meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, or comparable ERP systems
• Experience with BlackLine or comparable accounting workflow system
• Experience overseeing accounting or financial operations for multiple branches, locations, or business units
• Experience managing A/R across hundreds of customers and navigating longstanding customer/vendor relationships
• Experience managing remote employees or teams across multiple locations
• CPA or other relevant professional certification
• Hospitality industry knowledge and experience

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
