The Leidos Civil NISC IV program is seeking an experienced

Oracle Database Engineer to support mission-critical Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) engineering applications at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. ==========================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================

This role is ideal for an Oracle professional who enjoys working across database engineering, administration, application integration, security, performance, and modernization. You will work alongside software and engineering professionals to maintain and modernize Oracle-backed applications supporting the FAA.

This position is located on-site in Oklahoma City, OK and is not remote or hybrid.

Candidates must currently reside in the Oklahoma City area or be willing to relocate prior to their start date.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, maintain, and support Oracle database environments supporting FAA engineering applications.
• Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Support database performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Develop and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including queries, stored procedures, packages, and database objects.
• Implement and maintain database security, auditing, access controls, and data protection practices.
• Perform and support backup, restoration, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities.
• Monitor and manage Oracle environments using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and related tools.
• Troubleshoot database and application integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
