Description

Varen, an SAIC company

is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team! This position is located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Supports and oversees all infrastructure team operations and maintenance tasks for deployed operational solutions (Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware).
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues, including root cause analysis.
• Maintains documentation for infrastructure, systems, subsystems, and components.
• Works with the IT Architecture and Engineering team to research, analyze, and assess new technologies for infrastructure modernization.
• Proposes new solutions to the government with proof of concept for consideration by the Configuration Control Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
• Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
