Finance Manager Job Description — Restaurant Clients

The Finance Manager shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, timely completion, and coordination of all financial and accounting services provided under this Agreement and any applicable client agreement, across the Company’s client base. This is a general Finance Manager role; Consultant is being engaged at this time to support a restaurant/hospitality client utilizing Toast POS and MarginEdge, and may also be assigned to support Company clients in other industries. Client communication via phone and email shall be acknowledged and responded to within one business day unless otherwise agreed to by the client.

Required Experience

Consultant must have hands-on, working experience with Toast POS or MarginEdge, as the current client assignment is a restaurant operator using both systems. Experience with both systems is strongly preferred. Because this is a general Finance Manager role, prior experience supporting clients across varied industries beyond restaurant/hospitality is a plus.

Restaurant & Hospitality Clients — Services Provided

For Clients in the restaurant/hospitality industry, the Client hereby agrees to engage the Consultant to provide the Client with services (the “Services”) consisting of:

a. Month-End Close — Leading the month-end closing process from start to finish, ensuring the books are accurate, complete, and delivered to the client on an agreed schedule each cycle.

b. QuickBooks Categorization & Reconciliation — Categorizing all QuickBooks transactions and reconciling accounts (operating, bill pay, and other designated accounts) on a recurring schedule to be defined within each client’s agreement.

c. Toast POS Support — Working directly within Toast to pull, validate, and interpret sales data, and to support the Client’s day-to-day restaurant operations reporting.
