Director of Finance

Job Summary

Gulf Coast NeuroSpa is a growing, multi-location specialty healthcare practice focused on interventional psychiatry and advanced treatment for depression. We currently operate across Mississippi and Florida and are looking for an experienced finance leader who can strengthen our accounting infrastructure, improve financial visibility, and help guide the organization through its next stage of growth.

This is not a traditional bookkeeping position.

We are looking for someone who understands accounting deeply but also knows how to use financial information to help leadership make better decisions. The right person will be comfortable getting into the details when necessary, while also being able to step back and answer questions such as: Where are we most profitable? What should we be spending? How much cash should we retain? What are our true margins? How should we evaluate growth opportunities? And what financial systems do we need as the organization becomes larger and more complex?

This position will work closely with the CEO and ownership group and has the potential to develop into a CFO-level role as the organization continues to grow.

Work Arrangement

We are flexible in how this role begins and are open to considering full-time or part-time candidates, as well as remote, in-person, or hybrid arrangements.

For the right candidate, a part-time arrangement may provide an opportunity to grow into a larger role as the organization and finance function continue to develop.

Responsibilities

* You will take primary responsibility for the quality, consistency, and usefulness of our financial reporting and accounting infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include

• Lead the monthly and year-end financial close process and ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled.
