Director of Finance

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while managing a talented finance team. This role requires strong technical proficiency with accounting systems, financial software, data analytics tools, and a deep understanding of financial markets. The Director of Finance will play a critical role in shaping financial strategies that support the company's growth and stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Oversee all accounting systems and ensure their proper implementation, maintenance, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage financial operations including budgeting, cash flow management, and expense control.
• Utilize financial software and data analytics tools to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to finance and accounting practices.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor financial markets to stay informed of economic trends impacting the organization’s investments and financial position.
• Provide leadership in financial planning, risk management, and investment activities as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives through sound financial guidance.
• May be asked to perform additional tasks outside of the core job description as required.

Experience

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance roles, with proven leadership in managing finance teams.
• Strong technical proficiency with accounting systems, financial software, and data analytics tools.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets and economic trends affecting organizational finances.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic financial plans, oversee complex reporting processes, and implement effective controls.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Prior experience in a senior finance leadership position is highly preferred.

Pay: $103,397.39 - $113,415.31 per year
