Job Description
Business Development ExecutiveExecutive Protection | Residential Security | UHNW & Corporate Accounts
If you need us to teach you how to get in front of billionaires, founders, family offices, Fortune 500 executives, or the people responsible for protecting them, this probably isn't your role.
We are looking for a serious business development professional who already operates in the world of executive protection, residential security, corporate security, private security, or high-net-worth risk management.
This is not transactional sales.
This is a trust game.
Our clients are high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, founders, executives, celebrities, family offices, and publicly traded companies responsible for protecting some of the most visible people in the world.
And the contracts can be worth seven figures and beyond.
Who We Are
We are one of the elite protection companies in the world.
Our teams protect some of the most important and recognizable people on Earth.
We provide sophisticated protection solutions for individuals, families, executives, residences, organizations, and companies where failure simply isn't an option.
Our work can include
- Executive protection
- Close protection
- Residential security
- Estate protection
- Corporate executive security programs
- Travel security
- Protective intelligence
- Threat and risk assessments
- Security consulting
- High-net-worth family protection
Our clients are not shopping for the cheapest guard company.
They are buying trust, discretion, capability, judgment, and peace of mind.
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who has sold in this world before.
You understand how these relationships actually happen.
Maybe your relationships are with
Chief Security Officers.
Heads of Global Security.
Family offices.
Executive assistants.
Chiefs of Staff.
Corporate boards.
Private wealth advisors.
Estate managers.
Private aviation companies.
Luxury residential communities.
Security consultants.
Founders and CEOs.
Professional athletes and entertainers.
Or the people those individuals trust when they need protection.
You know how to get into the room.
More importantly, people trust you once you're there.
You Should Already Have a Network
We are especially interested in candidates who can say
*"I know who I would call on Monday."*
You have existing relationships capable of opening doors to meaningful accounts.
You understand how to build a relationship for six months before asking for the business.
You are comfortable sitting across the table from someone worth $500 million or $5 billion and having a normal conversation.
You understand discretion.
You understand confidentiality.
You understand that one incredible relationship can turn into a multi-million-dollar account and ten introductions.
This Is Not a Typical Sales Job
We do not need someone hammering out 200 cold calls a day reading a script.
We need someone who can hunt intelligently.
Someone who can build relationships at the highest levels.
Someone who knows how to work a room.
Someone who understands that the person controlling a massive security contract may never fill out a lead form.
You may meet them through a family office.
A private bank.
A board member.
A luxury real estate broker.
An existing client.
A former Secret Service contact.
A CEO.
A security director.
Or dinner with the right person.
That is the world we operate in.
The Ideal Background
Previous business development experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:
Executive protection Residential security Private security Corporate security Protective intelligence Family office services Luxury concierge services Risk management Private aviation High-end insurance Private banking or wealth management Defense or intelligence services
Former law enforcement, military special operations, federal agency, Secret Service, CIA, intelligence, or similar experience is a strong plus when paired with real business-development ability.
But a badge or impressive résumé alone does not get the job.
Relationships do.
What Success Looks Like
You develop relationships that turn into serious accounts.
You create introductions into family offices and executive suites.
You build relationships with corporate security leadership.
You uncover residential and estate protection opportunities.
You develop executive protection contracts.
You bring opportunities to the table that could produce seven-figure annual relationships.
And over time, you become one of the people in this industry everyone knows.
We Are Not Looking For
Someone trying to break into the security industry.
Someone whose entire sales strategy is LinkedIn messages.
Someone intimidated by extremely successful people.
Someone who needs constant direction.
Someone who confuses networking with business development.
Someone without the maturity to handle confidential information.
Or someone who talks too much.
Discretion matters here.
Compensation
We understand the value of someone who can originate large accounts.
For the right person, compensation will reflect that.
Strong base + significant performance upside.
If you can consistently create seven-figure relationships, we are prepared to compensate you accordingly.
One Question
Before applying, ask yourself
Who could you call today that could realistically become a client or introduce you to one?
If you immediately thought of several people, we should probably talk.
Pay: $350,000.00 - $750,000.00 per year
Application Question(s)
- Without naming names, describe the types of UHNW individuals, family offices, corporate security leaders, executives, or trusted advisors you currently have direct relationships with and could realistically get a meeting with.
- Tell us about the largest security, executive protection, residential security, or related account you personally helped originate. What was the approximate contract value, type of buyer, and how did you get in the door?
- Walk us through how you turn a high-level introduction into a real protection opportunity. How do you build trust, uncover the need, and move the relationship toward a seven-figure engagement without coming across as a salesperson?
