Duties

The incumbent serves as the Deputy Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) Primary Care at the Jacksonville or Wilmington VA Medical Center and will function as an advisor regarding the effective and efficient clinical management of Primary Care programs and services. The Deputy ACOS of Primary Care will work in a strategic leadership role reporting to the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) of Primary Care to ensure high quality whole-health Veteran care, efficient clinical operations, innovations in quality and patient safety, and supporting of staff in transformative change initiatives. The Primary Care leadership position includes but is not limited to the oversight of Primary Care and other patient care services taking place at the Jacksonville/Wilmington main medical campus and it's five CBOC's. The Deputy ACOS Primary Care will have a leading role in performance improvement initiatives within the PACT/Primary Care model. This may include coordination with other interrelated patient
