As a Cribl DevOps engineer lead on the Enterprise Monitoring Data team, you will help advance the team’s development and automation capabilities through modern engineering practices. Our team designs and operates enterprise-scale monitoring data platforms that deliver visibility and insights across IT. In this role, you will contribute to initiatives across CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and emerging technologies, including AI, while working with teammates and stakeholders to improve platforms and reduce operational overhead. As a hands-on technical leader with significant experience in Cribl Stream and Splunk, you will help accelerate platform adoption, lead large-scale ingestion and migration efforts, improve operational maturity, and mentor engineers in observability, data ingestion, and platform engineering best practices. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in architecting, operating, and supporting production-scale telemetry and data pipeline environments while solving complex engineering challenges.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Schedule: 1st shift ET, CT, or MT, Mon – Fri

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Math) and minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
• In lieu of degree, minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in designing and scripting infrastructure solutions.
