C# Backend Developer

Position Overview & Impact

Lifeblood Technologies is seeking an experienced C# Backend Developer to join our small, agile engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end development, architecture, and production support of our application suite. Your work will directly power our platform's mission: helping people take an educational, proactive approach to addressing their health issues by delivering reliable resources via a highly secure, seamless digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Delivery: Translate product specifications and wireframes into clean, modern, and well-documented C# code.
• API Architecture: Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
• Data Integrity: Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure peak data efficiency and security.
• System Health: Diagnose, debug, and upgrade existing applications while ensuring robust unit test coverage.
• Innovation: Stay current with evolving industry trends and integrate modern software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of active enterprise development experience using C# and .NET 6+.
• API Design: Proven track record building and integrating secure, RESTful web APIs.
• Database Mastery: Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server performance tuning and schema design.
• Testing: Solid dedication to unit testing and automated quality workflows.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills, accountability, and a collaborative team mindset.
• Bonus Points: Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks is a major plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

Location & Compensation

• Work Structure: This is a hybrid position located at our office in Littleton, Colorado (near C-470 & Broadway).
• Base Salary Range: $105,000 - 120,000 / year
