Assistant Corporate Controller

$140,000-$150,000 / year

We are looking for an Assistant Corporate Controller to be based in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area. (Remote-work position with occasional travel for face-to-face meetings).

We are looking for an aspiring, licensed accounting professional with real-world involvement applying GAAP or PCC alternatives in a growth-oriented environment; generating consolidated GAAP financial statements including disclosures; managing financial-close processes of the company's reporting entities; and collaborating with the company's third-party service providers.

Skills You Bring

• Practiced in risk-ranking balance sheet accounts/processes and related key controls.
• Practiced in guiding accounting and finance personnel through professional standards.
• Accomplished in periodic close and reporting processes.
• Experienced in ASC 842, *Leases*.
• Experienced managing external audits/examinations.
• Experienced with ERPs. (Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus; Oracle-like).
• Advanced proficiency with MS office software, particularly Excel (vlookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables, text-to-columns, etc.).
• Experienced in SQL a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting. Master's degree a plus.
• Active CPA license.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in public accounting.
• 8+ years of overall general accounting process/transaction experience.
• 4+ years of managing trained or licensed accountants.

What you will be doing

• Standardizing or evaluating differences in applying GAAP standards and company accounting policies across reporting entities.
• Managing two Accounting Managers responsible for the trial balance activity of Trulite U.S. and Trul
